| HOLE
# 2 – |
| |
This is a long par 3 played along and
over a natural wetland. There is a rock wall fronting
the green and two greenside bunkers, a pot bunker on the
right and a large bunker, just over the wall on the left
of the green. The green is 5200 sq. ft. and is angled
from right to left with a high flash of green on the
back right, a lower section in the back left and a
collection area over the back of the green. A shot
played to the middle left of the green will work down to
the back left pin position. |
 |
| HOLE
# 3 - |
| This hole is a long dogleg left par 4
that plays directly into the prevailing wind off the
ocean. There is a large bunker on the left side of the
fairway, which can be carried by the longer hitters,
leaving a middle iron into the green. A shot played to
the right side of the fairway will work slightly away
from the green leaving a very long second shot. The
green is a long narrow green of 5500 sq. ft. There is a
large greenside bunker on the front and left of the
green, which extends all the way to the back of the
green. There is a pot bunker on the right of the green
set into the support mound. Two large waste bunkers come
into play both on the tee shot and if the second shot is
hit to the left. |
| HOLE
# 4 – |
| This hole is a medium length par 5. The
tee shot is played over a lake and then over and along a
large waste bunker. There are two bunkers in the left
middle of the fairway with a section of fairway in front
and to the left of them. This section of the fairway is
the area to shot for if your intent is to play the hole
as a three shot hole. For the bigger hitters who wish to
go for this green in two, the best shot is to the right
of the two bunkers and to the left of the large waste
bunker. A well-hit shot into this 40-yard wide section
of fairway will feed the ball further down the fairway
allowing the player to go for the green on their second
shot. The second landing area is a narrow section of
fairway between a large bunker on the right and a large
waste bunker on the left. The green is a small green of
only 4100 sq. ft. and angles from right to left with
waste bunker fronting on the middle left, collection
areas on the right and left and a pot bunker cut into
the mounds behind the green. |
| HOLE
# 5 –
|
| This is a long straightaway par 4, which
plays downwind with the prevailing wind off the ocean.
The tee shot is played over a large wetland and the
landing area is generous with no bunkers. The premium is
placed on the second shot to a green of 4800 sq. ft.
which angles from left to right. There are three deep
bunkers surrounding this green at the front left, front
right and over the back. The green feeds off into
collection areas on the back left and back right.
|
| HOLE
# 6 – |
| This hole is a short par 4, which doglegs
almost 90 degrees to the right. The player is tempted to
attempt to drive to this reachable green over the lake
and beach bunker, which wraps around the right side of
the green. The safe shot off the tee is to the left
section of the fairway over the first left bunker and
left of the large bunker, which is straight away at the
end of the fairway. From this area of the fairway, the
player will have a short iron into the green over a deep
greenside bunker with the green sloping away from this
approach. The green is 4700 sq. ft. with a small pot
bunker cut into the support behind the green. The back
right of the green feeds off into a collection
area. |
| HOLE
# 7 – |
| This hole is very long par 3, which plays
over the lake and into the prevailing wind. The green is
4300 sq. ft. and angles from left to right with three
greenside bunkers. One very deep bunker at the front
right of the green, a deep bunker behind the green and a
large bunker set off the left of the green.
|
| HOLE
# 8 – |
| This is a short straightaway par 4 that
plays over a wetland down the right side. At the end of
the wetland is a large bunker on the right of the
fairway. On the left of the landing area there are three
bunkers set into a mound separating this hole from hole
# 9. The green is 4100 sq. ft. and angles from left to
right with two deep greenside bunkers. A large swale
dissects the middle of the green and a large collection
area is located behind the green. |
| HOLE
# 9 – |
| This is a medium length par 5. The tee
shot is played over a wetland with a large bunker
protecting the right side. The closer the player hits to
this bunker the more they are rewarded with the ball
working down the fairway leaving them with the better
angle for a lay up shot or for going at the green in
two. The safer shot to the left portion of the fairway
works the ball into broad collection area, but makes the
second shot to lay up more difficult. The second landing
area is between a lake on the left and two fairway
bunkers on the right. The green is 5400 sq. ft. with a
large rock wall into the lake along the left side and a
large deep bunker behind it. The green slopes from right
to left making the best approach for the third shot from
the left side of the fairway close to the lake. There is
a large collection area short and right of the green and
a smaller collection area back right of the green.
|
| HOLE
# 10 – |
| This is medium length slight dogleg
right par 4 with the tee shot playing over a wetland.
The landing area is wide with no fairway bunkers. The
green is 4600 sq. ft. and angles from left to right.
There is a large deep greenside bunker in front of the
green and a deep bunker cut into the support behind the
green. The back right of the green feeds off into a
collection area. |
| HOLE
# 11 – |
| This is a medium length par 5 that plays
into the prevailing wind. The shot must be played over a
lake and waste bunker down the left side. There are two
bunkers on the left side of the fairway short of the
landing area that separate an upper fairway from a lower
fairway. There are two more bunkers on the right side of
the fairway just past the landing area. The player who
wishes to try and drive the ball over the left bunkers
to the upper fairway will have the better angle into the
green if they choose to go for the green in two. The
player who plays to the right, lower section of the
fairway will have a blind second shot. The second
landing area is guarded by a large bunker on the left
and a waste bunker and wetland on the right. The green
is 4800 sq. ft. and has a bunker that wraps around from
the front to the side and behind the green. To the right
of the bunker is a wetland. There is a large collection
area to the back left of the green. |
| HOLE
# 12 – |
| This is a medium, slightly dogleg right
par 4. The tee shot is played over a wetland on the
right side. There is a deep bunker in the middle of the
landing area, which makes the player choose to play to
the right or to the left portion of the fairway. Pin
position plays a role in which side of the fairway the
player should choose. There is a large bunker short and
left of the green, which makes the back left portion of
the green blind from the left side of the fairway. When
the pin is back left the player should choose the right
side of the fairway. When the pin is back right the
better angle is from the left portion of the fairway.
The green is large at 6500 sq. ft. and has a swale that
works through the middle of the green. There are also
two bunkers to the right of the green and collection
areas that wrap from the left behind the bunker around
the back of the green. |
| HOLE
# 13 – |
| This is a long par 5. The tee shot must
be played over and along a wetland and waste bunker and
between a very large bunker that protects the left side
of the fairway. The second landing area is protected on
the left by two bunkers and on the right by a waste
bunker. The green is set into a large support mound with
a deep pot bunker protecting the front left and a deep
collection area off the front right. There is a small
collection area behind the green. The green is 5700 sq.
ft. and is angled from right to left. |
| HOLE
# 14 – |
| This is a long dogleg left par 4 that
plays downwind. The tee shot is played over a large
waste bunker and over a small bunker on the left side
and short of the landing area. Two large deep bunkers
protect the right side of the landing area. The second
shot is played to a green of 4500 sq. ft. protected by
deep bunkers at the front left and front right. The
green is angled from left to right with collection areas
to the back right and behind the green. |
| HOLE
# 15 – |
| This is a long par 3 which plays over
the lake on the right and over a beach bunker to a 4300
sq. ft. green which angles from left to right. There is
a deep bunker behind the green and collection areas to
the left of the green and to the back right of the
green. |
| HOLE
# 16 – |
| This is a medium length dogleg right par
4. The tee shot is played over the lake and waste bunker
on the right. There are two large bunkers on the left
side of the fairway. The best angle for the second shot
is down the right side, which creates a longer carry
over the lake. Play to the left short of the bunker if
you want to be safer, but expect a very difficult
partially blind second shot to the green. The green is
6300 sq. ft. and is long and narrow. A large deep bunker
protects the front of the green and another bunker
protects the right. There is a deep broad collection
area to the left of the green. |
| HOLE
# 17 – |
| This is a short par 3 that plays to an
island green. A rock wall encircles the green with water
from the right side around the front, left and back of
the green. The green is 6500 sq. ft. and has a deep
bunker protecting the front left of the green and
another bunker cut into a mound at the back right of the
green. This hole plays downwind and makes club selection
very difficult. Too short or too long makes for trouble
on this very scenic hole. |
| HOLE
# 18 – |
| The finishing hole is a long dogleg left
par 4. The tee shot must be played over a wetland, which
runs the entire length of the left side of the hole. A
large fairway bunker protects the right side making the
player choose to hit it close to the water for the
better angle into the green. A rock wall out of the
wetland protects the front left of the green and two
bunkers protect the front and back right of the green,
which is cut into a large support mound. The green is
4700 sq. ft. and angles from right to left with the back
portion much higher than the front. |
